A job offer arrives

PlusHeat doesn’t assign jobs to your company. It offers them. An offer is one job, with the customer’s preferred dates, sent to you first because your company covers that area and category. You accept a date or you decline, and either way the customer is told the same day.

  • Email — always. The subject is the job number and postcode; the email shows the dates as buttons.
  • SMS — to the primary manager’s phone, if it’s switched on under Notifications.
  • Push — on any phone or computer where you’ve turned notifications on.
  1. Open the email and press the date that suits.

  2. The offer page opens with that date chosen. Accepting takes one tap — there’s no form.

  3. The job appears in your Unassigned column, and the customer gets a confirmation for that date.

Pressing a different date on the offer page changes the choice before you accept. You can also pick the time window: Morning (8–1), Afternoon (12–6) or All day.

Press Decline on the offer page. It goes to the next company immediately. Declining is never held against you; leaving an offer to expire slows the customer down, so decline if you know you can’t do it.

The job is yours, but no engineer is on it yet. That’s the next step: Assigning an engineer. Until you do, it sits in Unassigned with a red dot.

Can I accept and change the date later? Yes — open the job, Book in, pick another day. The customer is told.

The same job came twice. PlusHeat’s system sometimes sends a job again after a change. The second email links to the same job; accepting it again does nothing extra.

Why didn’t I get an offer for a job in my area? Offers go to one company at a time, in order. If another company accepted within their 30 minutes, you never see it.
